Mona - Art Companion ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.
Photos: When you scan an artwork, the app sends the photo to Google's Gemini API for artwork recognition. This is the core feature of the app. We do not attach any personal identifiers (such as your name or email) to these photos. The images are used solely to provide artwork recognition and are not linked to your identity.
Google Gemini: We use Google's Gemini API to analyze photos for artwork recognition. Photos are transmitted to Google for processing. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for their practices.
Apple: Purchases are processed through Apple. Subscription management, billing, and restore purchases are handled by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
We do not retain copies of photos sent for recognition. Your scanned artwork history is stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account under your control.
You can delete your artwork history at any time through the app. If you have questions about your data, contact us using the information below.
Our app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
